Remembering Tony Sly

February 3, 2014

A little over a year and a half ago, the world/punk community lost a great songwriter. More importantly, we lost a very influential and dear friend by the name of Tony Sly.

While Tony’s death was untimely and sent waves of sadness through the hearts of our friends and ours alike, the legacy he left behind will keep him in our hearts forever. We had the chance to honor our fallen comrade this past October, along with numerous other talented artists and friends — all of whom had their own special way of honoring Tony’s memory.

Our friends at Fat Wreck Chords asked us to be a part of Tony’s tribute compilation, and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to pay respect, not only to a great human being, but his music as well. You can read what Justin had to say about recording our cover of Tony’s “Toaster In The Bathtub” HERE, and below, you can click on the image to be redirected to Fat Wreck Chords where you can purchase the record, itself. Proceeds from the tribute go directly to the Tony Sly Memorial Fund.

Thank you, Tony!
