All of those links above should contain most, if not all "1st wave" artists I mentioned above. And that's several gigs of music right there, just warning you now. I have all of them, and I'd say it's definitely a good introduction to early ska, rocksteady, and reggae.

EDIT: Two of those links were from Megaupload. I replaced one, but I can't find a decent link for the Rocksteady Rarities Boxset.

Some of that will be duplicates, some will require downloadhelper to save.
I have never asked James where the rest of their music is, or why it is so hard to find anything, but apparently half of Exit Strategy was released free digitally by a no-longer-existent online label and the other half is out of print. The Pissing People Off EP is supposedly on interpunk, but 5 dollars plus shipping is hardly worth it for a CD, when I could probably get James to burn me a copy for free. Since the only songs I have ever heard them play live are the ones on their bandcamp, I would not be surprised if the rest of it is gone forever. They never sell any merch but have been known to give shirts away. Next month they are playing a show and have said they will have tapes and shirts (I am supposedly getting both free) and they will have practiced at least once.
This is interesting:
