"It's possible to be a patriot without being a bigot, just as it's possible to be a weather forecaster without being a stripper, but if a weather forecaster took her clothes off halfway through a forecast, its fair to say the striptease element of her performance would greatly overshadow any meteorological merit." - Charlie Brooker

There is no civilization without civilizing, no capitalization without us capitalizing and capitulating.

The building in question has no fire safety mechanisms in place, neither planned nor installed ones – that is, it has no ceiling sprinklers, fire exits or fire hoses. There are only some portable fire extinguishers which, of course, cannot help in dealing with extensive fire in a building that is built with long-outdated security standards.
No branch of Marfin bank has had any member of staff trained in dealing with fire, not even in the use of the few fire extinguishers. The management also uses the high costs of such training as a pretext and will not take even the most basic measures to protect its staff.

Life is only a dream and we are the imagination of ourselves.
Did you know that dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish?

Their boss locked them in despite the fact that banks are regularly targetted in portests.
And, fellow bank employees and other workers are blaming these deaths on the banks and the cops. If there weren't any banks, they wouldn't be lighting them on fire.
EDIT: Also, FUCK the KKE (Greek Communist Party). In December 2008 they opposed the uprising, and in the past have created hit squads that murdered anarchists. Just like everyother fucking leninist in the world, they are only jumping on board now that the Greek Insurrection is becoming incredibly serious, because they want power. Hopefully the workers of the world have learned from the past that vanguardists cannot be trusted.

"So long as the people do not dare to exercise their freedom, those who wish to tyrannize will do so; for tyrants are active and ardent, and will devote them selves in the name of any number of gods, religions and other wise, to put shackles upon sleeping men."

“Well, people got attatched. Once you cut the umbilical cord they attatched to the other things. Sight, sound, sex, money, mirages, mothers, masturbation, murder, and Monday morning hangovers.”

This makes me wonder, do they have what we call in France a "Droit de Retrait" which is basically the right to leave your job or not go to work when you think your life is in danger. Do that even exist in the US?

Well I'm pretty sure it's illegal for them to barricade you in there or anything like that, but I don't think there is any recourse for people who will inevitably be fired for leaving.
We have something called OSHA which looks after workers' safety but all they can really do is fine (or close very temporarily) and the recent mine explosions proved what many of us knew, that it's cheaper for corporations to pay their fine than keep their workers' safe.

The good thing avout it is that if you leave/not come to work because you fear for your health or life, the employer can't fire or sue you, or even take that out of your wage. Of course it has to be a real danger and not some random crap.

We definitely don't. This is all that OSHA has to say on dangerous working conditions: http://www.osha.gov/...er/refuse.html.
It's not clear if "there's a riot outside" would even fall under the category of imminent danger. Even if it did though, it sounds like you would have no protection if you just left. You could be fired without any question.

walk on the pavement; watch TV;
save for your old age; follow the law.
