When I first read the title I thought it would probably just be a right wing nut scared by Glenn Beck. Instead, he seems to care about some of the same things you guys do. And he resorted to terrorism, which some of you support. So, let's see if we can get a debate going. Thoughts on the incident?

By the way, here's the manifesto he wrote:

I don't think he's an anarchist, but he's definitely a communist.

There were IRS, FBI, & CIA in that building. And also, to debunk any propaganda b.s. led by the mainstream media, that I've personally noticed people use to attack this guy, his family was not in the house when it was burned down, they had come home finding the house being burned down. The guy does not have any mental issues nor was he put into a mental clinic. At most, there have been reports by mental officials that say Joseph Stack could've had mental issues because of what he did, which means they didn't bother even reading his manifesto that he left behind.

I'm really not too sure he was a leftist of any sort. I understand his reasons for doing what he did, but I don't think it's necessarily commendable.
There's no denying his manifesto raised legitimate points, though.

Bloody awesome!

The communist creed: From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.
The capitalist creed: From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed.

Is that a famous saying for the capitalist creed or did he make it up?

Oh yeah, terrorism is so cool.  You anarchists really have all the answers.  It's such a horrible thing to punish people for torturing, abusing or killing animals.  But it's totally cool 911 kebob IRS buildings with the intention of murdering a bunch of underpaid government shills.   Yaaaaaaa man, you're all so right.

Cuz police officers aren't government shills? What about the military? We'd have to kill them off in a revolution, right?

You're banned, but I'll pwn you anyways.

Therapy is how we deal with individual pathology. It has shown to be effective. To fix a leech upon society that is used to fund the oppression of ourselves and the world abroad, war and revolution have shown to be effective.

They're not comparable acts. The intentions are totally different. And in either case, you suggest we use the state to punish people. That's why it's horrible. Because of the state. Hence we're anarchists. If we didn't know dick about psychology I would also be in favor of punishing animal torturers, but the simple fact is we do.

The guy was a moron.
Personally, I believe we're at a stage in the world where violent revolution is going to be the only means for change.
On the other hand, crashing a plane into a building does not open most people's eyes to whatever ideas you're spreading - it makes you look like a nut-job...more-so, maybe, than planting a bomb or some other kind of attack. Secondly, what do you expect to come from killing yourself?
Obviously this guy was desperate, looking for a way out, and wanted to take out some agents with him.
What he did, though, was moronic and not commendable. He was just insane, hands down.
Also, fuck the IRS; I don't pity anyone who works as one of those fucking criminals.
