Geographically speaking West Virginia is a midwest state, but the culture there is definitely Southern. Honestly, the mid-antlantic is the bestest.

Also, when a friend of mine went to WV she got picked on for being gay to the point where she feared for her life. She also got raped in the bathroom for being gay.

but that's not really the people's fault that live in west virginia...like i said before, there are tons of idiots, but that's at every campus. however,...
