Yeah, I was gonna say that, but forgot. It's really fucking annoying. I'm posting on another small forum and there we have the same problem. "Where's ...., haven't seen him around in a while" - "I don't know, he said this and that on his facebook"...
I really don't get why. Sure, there is facebook chat and silly games to play, but how can this make up for not having threads for discussions? Tumblr is even worse. I had one and from the people I followed, only a few were posting worthwhile stuff, and the rest of the time I was busy skimming through uninteresting crap from people, who reported that they took a...

I think punk music in general was much bigger in the middle of the Bush presidency. Looking back, you had three FAT Wreck Chords bands, Anti-Flag, Rise Against, and Against Me all sign to major labels, which was unprecedented. I just can't see that happening anymore.
Yeah... really hurt the anarchists. Tom Gabel got money and basically insulted the entire thing with that stupid teenage anarchist song.
Listening to his old lyrics, he was all heart and no brains. He never understood what anarchism really was and I want to punch him for being a condescending ignorant twat. Those crimethinc type...

I don't know how big of a band A-F are anymore. They were certainly bigger a few years ago. At their show in Baltimore there were maybe 100 people.

Anti-Flag takes so long to release their records that the political songs are no longer relevant by the time it's released. I think this is the main reason why their popularity seems to be so short-lived for most people. I can't say how many people like anti-flag, I have not seen them live in a while. The last time I saw them there were a bunch of people, most of them were generic punx, not the kind of people I see at shows now. Atlanta has weird taste in music, though. At a show with Fake Problems and Laura Stevenson and the cans more people came for the cans than stayed for Fake Problems. a local band nobody has ever heard of will pack the house and a touring band won't, unless it's folk punk but now I am getting off topic. Anti-Flag's music is getting sort of irrelevant, lots of people who listen to them are just starting out in punk music and are really interested in politics. That is what happened with me, now I am not as interested in politics, and that see...

I don't envision anything. I'm just telling PRG to do it because the place is dead and he may as well build up a new community.
It's the official anti-flag forums, after all. They're a big band.
