Well, in Brazil you have to course Social Science and then choose between a major in Sociology or Anthropology. My sister's first thought was helping refugees in war countries, but she's now hoping to work on the GLBT community.

About Paraguay, probably some small city near Cuiabá that sells electronic stuff for a nice price. Oh, and casinos that children were allowed back in the late 90's. (I was 3, all I remember is going nuts at the casino and losing up all the money my dad gave me LOL).

Funny thing is, I know exactly what you're talking about. That city is called Ciudad Del Este, and yeah, their...

Whoa, largest regret in life? I'm glad I asked then! Yeahp, I'm not really politician material, specially in a country so corrupted as Paraguay is, it's just not the way I am. I used to be interested in psychology but then I saw how some psychologists work, and some stuff doesn't make sense to me. Now, sociology, I'm not sure what's that about

Nice ^^ what part of Paraguay? Anthropology? Any idea why did she end up choosing that instead? She likes it?
I'm just asking everyone about their careers

My honest advice is to stay very far away.  It's probably my largest regret in life in taking it, as its mostly for career politicians.  If you want to change the world, you would be better off taking Sociology or Psychology.

Hello there fellow South American :) I've been to Paraguay once, I lived in Mato Grosso as a kid, which is kinda close.
What PRG said about political science is true. My sister wanted to study it some years ago, but after a lot of research, she found out it's exactly what he said. She's studying anthropology now.

You study political science, and lately I've been interested in it, so, can you tell me how is it like? And why did you decided studying that?
I'm not quite sure about what I wanna do with my life so I ask people about their careers, sorry if I might end up annoying you with it

Well I study political science, so we talk a lot about foreign countries, and especially Latin America when it comes to neocolonialism.

I have a friend who didn't even know how to find Spain on a map, and I had to show her
