Replying to Tennessee bans using the word "gay"

how did that even get passed? like there is no sense in it. like if it was meant to help like the gay, lesbian, bi community, how would it? it makes it seem like it's weird and wrong, while like in reality it's perfectly natural.

So, from the mentally retarded Christians local government's point of view, ignoring homosexuals will make them go away? Like "I can't see you, so you're not there"? Funny how that works, I didn't realize that not using the word 'gay' was going to stop homosexuals from being born.

In all seriousness, this is absolute shite and I really don't see how America is going to progress if we keep getting pulled back by such dumbassery.

That's messed up! I mean, I can see them wanting people not to say "gay" in an offensive way, like just randomly using the word, like, "you're gay" as an insult. But it's not fair for anybody using it in a non-offensive way. I mean, what are they gonna do, arrest you when they hear you say it? Wow.....

Recently the state of Tennessee has passed a bill to ban people from using the word "gay" and from discussing homosexuality. It was done in the guise of "protecting" the gay/lesbian community but it's really just discrimination.  I'll get to my point. This is in direct violation of the 1st amendment, right?
