This is fucked. I mean, he may have been responsible for the death of thousands, but what about the middle-eastern civilians that the allies have murdered? You don't see people marching into wherever Bush is now and ripping his throat out? Imagine if someone invaded the US claiming you have nuclear weapons(which it does ) but really using that as an excuse to steal your oil, you'd be pretty pissed off too, You'd be burning for revenge! Osama should've AT LEAST had a fair trial! That wouldn't happen though, because that...
Is it really that awful to be a little happy? The fact that the Bush regime committed numerous evils and that Obama has done little to seek justice for it and continued in some of the atrocities, it really doesn't negate the fact that radical Islam is still a negative force in the world, Bin Laden's existence was not helping anyone, and killing a religious fanatic leader at least means there is one less motherfucker out there, even if it doesn't make us any safer.
Supposing it doesn't make us safer, and in fact acts to do the opposite, what reason is there to celebrate?

I really don´t get why people are so sure that he is not dead. Why would they tell us then? I mean...maybe he hasn´t died in the exact way they say, but...if he was still alive why would they create this big thing out of it. However, it is a bit weird with the burial I think.
Anyway...personally I am not exactly happy he´s dead. Firstly, it´s not good to be happy because someone has died, and secondly I am far from believing that the world is now a "safer place". As Al-Qaeda must be raging. And what I don´t understand AT ALL is the celebrating people in American streets. wtf? How many times can you shout "USA" until someone tells you to shu...

German chancellor Merkel is getting shit among others from people of her own party for her public statement, that she was "glad" about the achievement of the killing of Bin Laden. Apart from the fact, that the way she worded it the statement rather can be understood as "I appreciate it" than as "I'm fucking glad and do the happy dance", I always love it, when they fight against eachother. Her party is the Christian Democratic Union and the critique is mostly based on how inappropriate it is for a Christian to express joy about the death of a human being.
Most hilarious as always the critique of the stupidest secretary of foreign affairs Germany ever had, Guido Westerwelle: He reminded her to show more respect for Islam. Oh well.
Anyway, the U.S. government changed the statement about the details of how Bin Laden had been killed. First they said, he was armed, now they admitted he wasn't.
