I'm not trying to start anything just curious on the thought.

If their aren't wages why I would to spend half my life studying and learning to be something like a nuclear physics or something vs not doing anything and being a gas station attendant?

How does one purchase extra stuff like an xbox or a better car?

I was reading the Wikipedia page on it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communism
But it doesn't explain how does a country survive .. Does the country give you a house? If so why do they get to pick where you can live. What if you want a better house. You wont get the freedom to choose where you want to live. How does losing all the freedoms to make your life better work better for a country for oppressing the people to tell them what they can and can't do?

Wouldn't it just make everyone the same? So there wouldn't be a point in going to school because it wouldn't be worth my time and effort if there isn't something driving it.

In short if everyone's the "same" there wouldn't be a drive for something to make something with their life that couldn't help the country / community as a whole.

And again correct me if I'm wrong on any of the points.
In a communist society, I imagine people would be motivated by love rather than material gain. A good example is prostitution; people don't have a problem with the sex, it's the cheapening of the act by bringing money into it that people find distasteful. I have got myself into a huge amount of debt through uni fees by trying to do something I love. If money wasn't an issue people would be more free to do what they find worthwhile, rather than what they feel they must in order to "earn a living". Money only really motivates people to do things they wouldn't otherwise bother with.

I think my new years resolution this year will be to stop wasting my time on dead forums. I'm currently looking for a new place to waste my time online.

Stefan Moleneux discusses anarcho-communism on his radio show (from 23.50 onwards). It would be cool to see what people think about this.

Hmm sounds complicated, I'll probably just stick to the bord game.
