I would pick a favorite album but they're all amazing. They're one of few bands that can keep producing new amazing material without dramatically changing their sound, I can't describe how great they are.

I would say each album has its own distinct style and sound.

Just kidding.
The unraveling is my favourite though because it's just straight up honest and raw emotion. I can relate to the lyrics of every single song on it. I think Rise Against's best songs are the ones reflecting on personal relationships rather than socio-political issues.

left home at 430 got to the venue at about 730 (doors were at 8) got in me and my friend worked are way to the front(well second) to watch the opening act. they were a local punk band they were okay but the pa's were too loud so everything sounded horrible. then rise against came on me and hobo carl managed to get up front.. opened with colapse and state of the union. I'll post the whole set later. they played 20 songs with two acoustics and dancing for rain(which surprised me) and ended with give it all and ready to fall. i hung round back for bout a half hour and saw a sealgull try to get into a car. First Tim and Zack came out, me and my friend talked with them got stuff signed and picture etc. we waited a bit more and brandon came out again taalked (i got to rub his beard)
Edit:
set list was as follows
Collapse
State of the Union
Re-Education
Paper Wings(sex)
Long Forgotten Sons
Good Left Undone
Chamber and the Cartridge
Drones(amazing)
Dirt Whispered
Audience of One
Blood to Bleed
Savior
Surive
Blood Red White bla bla
Prayer of the Refugee
went off stage
Tim comes on
Swing Life Away
then zack came on
Hero of war (at the end joe and brandon came and played for the last bit bass was too loud though)
they all left again
Dancing for Rain
Give it All
Ready to fall
Brandon told me he got aa new kit and was haviing trouble with fills if anyone cares

I saw them last week for the fourth time and I doesn't really like the Setlist (they played they same as above without Blood-Red and the acoustic songs) except Paper Wings. I wanna hear more old stuff live.
