It absolutely is a word. That wasn't really correct usage of it, but it is a real word.

funny story though, on Independence Day I was seeing which shirts were Made in America just for curiosity's sake...and guess which ones? My ANTI-FLAG shirts... I couldn't get enough of the irony.

i've never gotten in serious trouble with wearing a-f shirts/hoodies except for once...
i was wearing my ANTI-(gunstar)-FLAG tshirt on the bus
some guy thought it said anti-FAG and was about to bitch at me
he was like "hey! hey! what does your shirt say?!"
i stretch my shirt out and say "it says anti-flag, why?"
he's like "oh.....i thought it said anti-....gay."
so i say "oh, NO! i'm totally pro-gay. i have a shirt that says legalize gay on it"
and he's like "oh ok"
o.o
he looked as if he could kill me for that though.

though, when i went home from warped tour, of course i happened to sit down in the bus opposite an old man with "proud to be an american" t-shirt, with the flag behind the letters, he kept looking at me rather aggressive for the whole ride
in my school is one guy who wears an anti-flag shirt, from whom i know that he's in a right-wing, nationalist organization, it's still strange to see that for me...
ah, my brother doesn't like anti-flag
my parents only don't want me to wear my "against nazis" t-shirt, 'cause there are lots of people who got beaten up with that -.-
the moment i lose my hope i die
