There was just few people inside the church and no liturgy was on at that moment. And the action was stopped in about half a minute so that hardly anyone was bothered. The injured side of the process is now presented by those 2 guards who took the girls out of the temple, that lady (she is a charwoman who takes care of the candles in this temple) who is telling off girls in the video and some guy of radical orthodox organization whose presence at the place is under great doubt according to the point of view of the defence.

Sorry, i forgot to mention that the guards and the charwoman of injured side now were just witness for the prosecution at the start of the process. Their status was changed during the process already. However the guards could easily give out the girls to police if they considered their action as a big crime and felt themselves injured side. But they just took them outdoors and then let them go. The girls were arrested few days later, after the application was sent to Prosecutor General's Office to start the research of this case. The application was written by a person who was not presenting himself at the temple during the action. He just pointed out the youtube video of the action as a matter to start the research of.

Стайка полоумных куриц повыделывалась дешево. И совершенно верно, что нечего их держать в тюрьме. Какую опасность они несут для общества? Их бы выпороть лозиной на людях, так чтоб все видели, да отпустить. Может поймут, что не тот метод для приобретения популярности избрали. Только не надо своему панк-ДЕРЬМУ придавать политическую окраску. Это не повысит вашу популярность. И не ищите вы поддержки за рубежом. Что вы как дети малые? That, in a larger context, is debatable but, in the context of Pussy Riot, irrelevant when the head of the church publicly gives religious credit to Putin illegally taking office for a third term. Kudos to those girls and salutes to everyone such as Anti-Flag who gives support.

Are you russian? I've been reading up on this Kirill I guy and he seems totally corrupt- ties with the old KGB, importing billions of dollars of cigarettes, dismissing civil rights protests, and calling Putin's reign a "miracle of God."

The protest was not against religion, it was against this tie of church and state that is becoming closer and closer.
