Why do you make an account with this username on any forum? I mean, it's your username here as well. I'm always wondering, how people can be so careless with their personal data on the internet. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I've always tried to completely separate my real life from my internet life. Not in a way, that I'm pretending to be someone I'm not, but to make sure, that people, who know my real life data wouldn't find me on the internet and internet folks wouldn't be able to check out my real life stuff. Over the years I have told so many genuine things about myself on various internet forums, I would freak out, if anyone, like people from work would be able to find out.

I am pretty sure most people here know my full name, and some even know my address (190 Pleasant Vally Rd, Monroe GA, 30655 SEND ME STUFF!!!) And I am perfectly fine with that, in fact, I wish some of the people I know in real life knew me on the internet because that would make things a lot easier.

Well, if you get to know people, of course, they will get your real life data one day, although I still wouldn't share it, unless it's really necessary, like when someone's coming to visit me or something.

And I probably wouldn't mind that much, if my close real life friends found out about my forum life. Actually I think, one or two of them might have found out already, since I share a bit about what I'm doing and it's not that hard to find the forums I'm on and if they would see me here, they would recognize me. But still, it's nice to have something just for me, I wouldn't want to have them around on the internet all the time. Maybe that is a little weird, oh well.

But most importantly I'm cautious because of the politics I'm sharing on the net. Sure, if authorities were determined to find out about me, they probably could anyway, but still I wouldn't want to make it too easy.

he just would, you don't know my dad. Unexpected mail, really, he does not mind if I tell him I am getting something, but if it just shows up he does not like it. letters or something not unusual would probably be fine. I think he worries that the mail man is going open our mail and tell everyone in town about what we get.

I think successfully blackmailing a drug cartel is a good thing to do.
Anonymous has potential. I share the ideals. It is a great idea. The only problem is that a lot of people claim to fight for their ideals while they are just doing what they want to do. It is not about fighting everyone you don't like. It is about fighting for freedom, against Scientology, misuse of authority...... If the people know more about it they could see which attack is anonymous-like and which is only made by bored kids.
And is pretty annoying that a lot of people claim to be "spokesmen" of anonymous. Official spokesmen would not match the whole idea. There is not even a member list. There is no boss. There is not a lot of broad consent. There is absolutely nothing official. Anonymous is too anarchic to have spokesmen.
