The forum looks a bit empty w/o In the Media. Even if it was a slower section, it had a very distinct purpose. It seems to me like it could only help, not hurt to still have it, unless I'm missing something.

This forum was created as to provide a mechanism for fans to find others who felt passionately about Anti-Flag and left wing politics, and to hopefully as well allow them to learn and educate themselves through their interaction and discussions. However, the average age of the forum has increasingly gone up over the years, and now the users who are younger and not as eloquent in their speech stick out like a sore thumb. The forum worked best when everyone grew together.
Not to mention, as people get older, enter into careers, and get married, it becomes harder to find free time. They may eventually grow out of Anti-Flag completely. So the forum can't be sustainable under these conditions.
The forum needs to make sense. It needs to be useful. It needs to be relevant. It needs to at least somehow promote and help organize the causes that the band believes in. There needs to be a greater emphasis on the shows, and a greater emphasis on activism. To those here who believe that activism or education is a waste of time, that's fine. But it is of my opinion that a far greater waste of time to argue about it online. That was never the purpose of this site, and when debate here turns into virtually nothing but that, then that tells me that the site is not reaching the correct audience. Without the Anti-Flag discussion, and without the activism, what reason is there for an Anti-Flag fan to sign up here as opposed to anywhere else? This forum has lost its identity.
So the new website will be more Anti-Flag and activism based, though I won't go into details at the moment.

3. I haven't seen her around in a while. About 3 months ago she got told by our resident omniscient being to seek love and enlightenment outside the internet and I think, that's what she probably did.

Anyway, it's of course not that big a deal. On the other hand, I don't think a separated media forum is the end of the world either.

Plus, you know, it kind of defeats the purpose of locking and hiding threads if everyone can still see them and read them anyway.

I vote for "Robot Hell- You'll pay for every crime, knee deep in electric slime. You'll suffer 'till the end of time, enduring tortures, most of which rhyme, trapped forever here in robot hell!"
