The hipsters I encountered in Abc city were more interesting than 90% of the population here. But then again we have a bunch of trendy fucks who cling to anything that seems unique. Whether it be the "Alternative" scene which is basically a sycophantic mob of people who think that the more piercings and meaningless tattoos they found in an art book you have the more awesome you are, and these little psuedo-consumeristic dick bags who call themselves hipsters when really no hipster would call themselves a hipster because real hipsters know it's a derogatory term. We live amongst a stagnating populace that continually sucks the originality out of anything remotely unique. We are literally a community that has stopped giving birth to anything new.

When I say this i'm talking about upstate New York.

This was in response to some chick who said I'm a drug addict or whatever. I basically just went on a rant.

Quote

I'm not going to be doing any drugs for the next month to 2 months so my tolerance can fade away. After that i'll buy a couple tabs of acid and 2 exstacy pills. It'll be 40-50 bucks, but I don't really see it as a waste of money. I have everything I need, I can only cosume trivial material things from here on out. I see that as much if not more of a waste of money than buying drugs. All consuming is, is helping maintain a certain level of greed for resources for the incredibly rich. I can live a perfectly fulfulling life without an iPhone or a nice car or expensive clothing. Everyone is tricked into this spell of conveniency by adverts they see at 100 miles per hour through media outlets, and they get notions in their head that they need these things to thrive and better their lives. It's all a spell, a brainwash technique to keep the society we have now. It's actually more unfulfulling to work full time at McDonalds to pay off car insurance and a cell phone bill than it is to live in the woods hunting and farming for a living. But society demands you must first pay them for permits and land ownership to even do these things. Everyone is tricked into thinking they have freedom or choices in life, but when it boils down to it everyone is forced to do live the same meaningless existence. Working for a society they never asked to be apart of, and there is no opt out button if you don't want to be in society, you either participate or die.

I would have never realized any of that had I never taken drugs, everyone is in a constant competition with everyone else to try to get to the top, but the trick is there is no way to get to the top, we can only battle for the middle, and most of the world ends up at the bottom.

So the way I see it, buying drugs aren't a waste of money, they're an alternative to the harsh reality of constant conquest to set a future to fool yourself into thinking you're comfortable and content.

But what nobody realize the meaning of life we have established in todays day and age is the constant struggle to want more. It's the only thing that drive us. Our want and desire for more, more of anything, more of the new and less of the old.

And that is why I choose to live the life I lead, because in the long run i'm one of the few people who have a grasp on reality, and everyone else is only fooled into thinking they do.

You also have to take into account i'm just a mere layman, i'm giving my opinions on facts I encounter in my daily life. I do no actual in depth research, I just have conversations about what I feel is the reality of the world.

You're not important to anyone but yourself, go die.

Fact: All Dead spends more time conversing on the internet trying to fool himself into the facade that he has a somewhat of an interesting life than he actually spends in public or with people other than the ones he lives with, which he is probably disconnected from.

It seems he just needs constant attention and doesn't care if it's positive or negative. Sad really.

Tolerance works different ways for different drugs. There is no such thing as general drug tolerance, and I'm quite sure you don't build up a tolerance to acid. Ecstasy, on the other hand, note the proper spelling, can affect your brain's serotonin production, and if you take too much you can wind up with significantly decreased senses of happiness and pleasure for the rest of your life. Oh right, you're a hedonist, never mind.

Well, which is it, are you living in the woods and growing your own food, or are you opting out and "dying"? Oh wait, you're doing neither. You're enjoying the conveniences of the modern world as much as anyone else. And the fact that there aren't billboards and TV advertisements for all the drugs you do doesn't make you any less of a mindless consumer.

And that is your excuse for being a loser. Lots of working class people get fulfillment without running around doing stupid shit like you do.

Quote

So the way I see it, buying drugs aren't a waste of money, they're an alternative to the harsh reality of constant conquest to set a future to fool yourself into thinking you're comfortable and content.

You're worried about your future highs. Therefore, you have goals, and are a sellout.

Quote

But what nobody realize the meaning of life we have established in todays day and age is the constant struggle to want more. It's the only thing that drive us. Our want and desire for more, more of anything, more of the new and less of the old.

You want more drugs. You want more of the cheap thrills you get from tagging stop signs with anarchy a's and committing burglary and bragging about it on the internet. And you always want more attention.

Quote

And that is why I choose to live the life I lead, because in the long run i'm one of the few people who have a grasp on reality, and everyone else is only fooled into thinking they do.

If you have a grasp on the fact that your existence does not in the least benefit the human race or even the people immediately around you, then congratulations, you are smarter than I thought.

He already said that society forces you to purchase land and permits and shit in order to first do that, so that you're forced to slave for someone else to buy the land you'll probably never be able to afford.

Nick beat you at an argument.

Ha-ha.

Nick's an angsty absurdist on the inside. I like it.

I'd imagine Camus is rolling in his grave at all the idiots thinking they understand his work, probably even more so than Marx at this point.

John, you are not only a pretentious douche bag, you make up points that go against your own doctrine to try to disprove mine.

I have made plans for immediate futures only, which everyone does, nobody can live their life on a whim. Your just an idiot and you're jealous I love my life more than you probably ever will.

Fuck that. Camus isn't hard to understand at all really. His stories are stupid simple and don't really have a point.

Which is the point, I guess. Just write a series of events with little significance and let the masses assign their own meaning... oh, and make it absurd. Make sure the absurdity relates to a universal aspect of the human condition.

It's either really brilliant or really cheap.
