I used to love WoW. One of my mates didn't know I was an avid player and a warhammer fan so I get geek abuse every now and then. I loved Warhammer but it's a rich man's game these days, selling my models for a new guitar/festival tickets.
On game related notes, anyone tried Brink? I was really looking forward to it, but i'm cash strapped and the reviews say it needs patching first

"It's possible to be a patriot without being a bigot, just as it's possible to be a weather forecaster without being a stripper, but if a weather forecaster took her clothes off halfway through a forecast, its fair to say the striptease element of her performance would greatly overshadow any meteorological merit." - Charlie Brooker

Started the free version of WoW yesterday and am enjoying slaughering monsters so far. But I hope, there's a little more to it than this, because I usually find jump and run/fight elements in a game to be boring pretty fast, if the main focus is on this. I really like the graphics and stuff, though. I would never have thought, my computer were able to run it, seeing the comp is a bit old already.

ive been really into Dead Island lately.
there really isn't a whole lot more to the game to be honest. there are some cool things you can get like mounts and nifty armors. my partner and i play wow really casually because her computer cant run a lot of things and shes absolutely terrible at games to be honest. wow is only fun if you have people you can play with, preferably people you know in person. but idk, you may like it.

The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.

I would love to play a real adventure game, where you have to solve tasks and all, not only run around and randomly kill stuff. I used to love Monkey Island, a game like this would be nice, maybe one, that's a little less cute.
