How many more people need to suggest Arrested Development before you check the damn show out?

What exactly constitutes a "normal" TV show? And how does Star Trek not meet that criteria?

Oh shit, yes, definitely watch Firefly.

I'm guessing he means everything that doesn't involve space ships, parallel universes or little yellow people with an attitude.

Seriously, listen to the people who said Doctor Who. It's amazing. Also, you might like Primeval. It's not that old, but it's fucking great.
Dennis: Oh, king eh? Very nice. And how'd you get that, eh? By exploiting the workers. By hanging on to outdated imperialist dogma which perpetuates the economic and social differences in our society.
King Arthur: The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that I, Arthur, was to carry Excalibur. THAT is why I am your king.
Dennis: Listen, strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony. Oh but if I went 'round sayin' I was Emperor, just because some moistened bint lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away.

Now that's excentrical.

Well, Babylon 5 matches these criteria and I suggested it, because I thought you're fond of science fiction in general. I never understood, why this show didn't really make it into the mainstream (but maybe that's only in my country, where the comparable DS 9 was way more popular). It's a bit like Lord of the Rings, but only in space. And I actually stopped watching DS 9, because it appeared as a boring Babylon 5 copy to me at some point.

Anyway, maybe you keep it in mind for watching it someday when you're done with all the other obligations.  :P

I am nearly done with Star Trek TOS and TAS, I have finished Doug and Back To The Future: The Animaited Series. What should I watch next? I am thinking Star Trek Voyager. I changed some of the choices to reflect hat I am considering.

I won't have a lot of time to watch it because new episodes of Futurama start next week and Warehouse 13 and Eureka start next month, I think Nova and Nova Science Now are in new episodes now too. Also I am going to lots more shows and seeing more bands, not as much time for TV.

also, now I am downloading Star Trek: Voyager.

AND IT HAS SUBTITLES APPARENTLY! I CAN READ WHAT I WATCH AS I WATCH IT!

And I set them up to be in the LCARS font, so I can watch Star Trek on my computer and the text on my screen is the same as on their computer screens FUCK YEAR!

Now I have finished all of Star Trek Voyager. I can now say with 100% confidence that I have seen every episode of every Star Trek ever (except for all those unofficial internet serieses).

Now what am I going to do with my life? I may as well kill myself now.

on the off chance I don't off myself, I have edited the poll, I still have 3 seasons of Rocco's Modern Life downloaded already that I need to watch, so that may be what I do next, but vote on the poll anyway, if you have not or your votes have been deleted.

Have you still not seen Firefly? As a fan of space-related programming, it would be ridiculous not to watch it.
