I got myself a 3 year old peyote cactus as my third eye is long overdue a squeegee. Do any of you psychonauts know anything about caring for them? It's currently about the size of an eyeball.

Is it Trichocereus pachanoi, T. peruvianus or T. bridgesii? By the way, great acquisition, but you also know it takes 5 years to grow?

It's actually Lophophora williamsii. Five years altogether or another five years?

5 years altogether I believe. Well, on a reliable website I buy things like that, this is how they describe how to take care of all peyote cactuses.

Before the roots grow: water it only once and let the cactus grow its roots very deep.
After 1 to 2 months: water it once a week until the roots get even deeper. After that you can water once a day, month or year, but it is important that the cactus has a dry and a wet period over the year. But they usually can't stand wet cold periods.
They also need a lot of light during all their lives.

That's a bit of what's written on the website in portuguese. They sell cactus seeds and cuts for people to grow and have this informative on their page.

Yeah.. that kinda stuff happens alot in Finland. One of finland's most famous and recent school shooters was actually from my hometown.
