Not at the moment, no. I got fired from my last job, and I'm in the process of finding a new one.

What is your point?

if you had a job and anarchy set in would you still work your old job. be realistic dont just say yes for the sake of arguement

I'm not an anarchist but for the sake of the argument...

I would still be working. Anarchists still need petrol :P

Perhaps part time. I would rather do something I enjoyed. There were certainly some people that enjoyed for the most part working in a grocery store, I did not.

Edit: Upon further consideration, I would probably become an electrician or do construction work. I enjoy both of those types of work and it's definitely needed. However, I still don't see how any of this is relevant. Work is a fucked up institution, and capitalism creates tons of pointless jobs that won't be around after the revolution.
The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.

Why would we get definitions of political ideologies from the 'punx community'?

The "punx community" is what has ruined anarchism in North America. It's been turned into this ridiculous nonsense of punk shows and stupid outfits. Anarchism IS NOT A SUBCULTURE. It is a philosophy based around class struggle.

Do you think the ruling class is going to go quietly? There is a reason why it's called Class War.

What will destroy the ruling class is when the world reaches it's breaking point, when there is no food and no goods for the masses of people and we decide as a whole to no longer recognize their wealth and to take what is ours.

That's the double edge sword of state socialism, it gives the poor a bit more but it reverses the path to the breaking point. And only temporarily until it is corrupted and overthrown.

We will have a lot of pollution no matter what.
There is no reason to force people to spend more money on that, it's a terrible idea considering that people don't have any extra money right now.
What's wrong with being oil-dependent? We have a large supply here in the US that we could be using. We're also able to make oil from different things.

That's completely ignorant of the impact our society has.
Oil causes us to rely on unstable regions (regardless how unstable, not from our own resources), and is among the nonrenewable resources that will constantly deplete with reliance.

Why shouldn't we strive to progress with innovative clean & renewable energy?
Reducing pollution, reducing reliance on a resource that is nonrenewable and relies on places we have no control over; isn't that common sense?

Isn't reducing the harm we do, the risk we must live with, essential to basic progress?
