I have installed the Lynx tex-based web browser on my home computer. I can telnet to chorusofone.no-ip.org and connect to that computer, log in, start Lynx and post here, all while being impervious to the school's blocks. Since Lynx is text only, I don't need a mouse and can type while staring at the teacher pretending to pay attention.

I forgot to turn my proxy server program on before I left home this morning so I can't get around the internet blocks or remotely access my computers at home today.

And I forgot the command-line commands to start it from the telnet, so I was just going to restart the computer (all this stuff runs at startup) but I can't log into my home computer at all now because none of it starts until I log on to the computer manually in person. This has nothing to do with my website's server, it still works fine. Though. if something happens to it while I'm at school, I can't fix it until I get home..

and I either lost or left my calculator at home. Now I have to take a math quiz without it, I will probably fail miserably. I ran across campus and looked all over my truck and couldn't find it. I literally ran that's the most I've run in over a year probably.

I got everything running and I'm posting this from eComStation, but the computers at school don't run eCS! I finally got VNC server to run right at home and VNC viewer at school

My fist class is canceled and Remote Desktop is working great. I'm going home (st least as far as my computer is concerned).

the teacher used "starwars"as the password to take the quiz. Not Funny.

And he is calling the school's only computer technician in to "fix" the computers because someone told people how to disable the monitoring system and now half the class (and probably the school) has done it.

haha I used to do stuff like that in high school all the time. I haven't bothered to figure how to disable our monitoring system because i jus turn off my computer and turn it back on and it stops working.

Monitoring systems are amusing if you have a funny teacher. At least half of us were going on random sites and he doesn't care. He just comments on who sucks at tetris.

my gov't teach always did that last semester, it made me laugh.

I am bringing this back. They upgraded the school computers to Windows 7, but I still think I have killed the monitoring system.
YAY!

also I have remote desktop-ed to my home computers and all without the files on my ipod!
