So I know I haven't been the friendliest sort...

I mean, I just sort of came on here and trolled the fuck out of people. Was, probably, the biggest contributor to turning this place in to a warzone.

But dammit, we've been doing this for a minute. People have come and gone. I mean, where the fuck is Steve? PRG barely around anymore. I know we're all growin' up and shit but damn, this seems like a whole lotta time for nothing. We should keep this place going somehow.

Have a fucking rule that everyone from Steve to BED to the other Jason MUST come and check in on at least a bi-monthly basis. This is ridiculous. We found ourselves here. Discovered, in large part, who we are internally. I even see Nick's development from a snot-nosed punk who failed at the internet in to a decently well-written individual. We have to admit it, the move from n00b to veteran is a special process. Where the fuck is ALK?

I want everyone to find these fuckers and physically harass them until they make a post in this thread. Then, we decide to get this message board going again somehow. Or, we make a new fucking one because no one listens to Anti-Flag.

When I found out that one of my best friends outside of the internet was a member here before I joined, I was stoked. I wish this place could be active and interesting again. I think jogn is off exploring the world or some shit. Steve came back for a while a few months ago, I talk to Alex and Devon on the Facebooks every once in a while.

I agree. And I was one of those people that grew up on here. If I'm correct, I've been a member for almost 4 years now?
I went from a complete idiot who everyone hated, to a decent person that people seem to halfway like.
I improved my life through this forum. This place helped me solve a lot of problems in my life, improved my personality, improved my grammar, I now read over my posts better before I post them so I make less mistakes, I've learned a lot of stuff that I never would have known without this place, I went from being a prude who hated porn and insulting anyone for having anything to do with it to not minding now and kind of liking it, I've discovered my true identity inside and out, I realized I want to have sex instead of being ignorant and saying I would never even try it, I've matured, etc.

This place has huge memories for me.

And I also agree about bringing back up the old TPU for awhile, infact, it should be brought forever, he should make a special website where we can all go and look back at the old posts whenever we want to. It would be kind of fun to go and look back at all of that stuff, because even though I was only part of the old TPU for about 1 year I think, I made many posts, and I'd love to see how I've grown since then, and sit back and laugh at all the stupid fucked up things I used to post, and all my grammatical errors and typing errors. Especially would be fun to go back and look at the "Ask Anti-war94" thread. :P

I was actually just reminiscing about the epic political debates that used to happen on here. What ever happened to them I wonder. Also, I forget that this is an Anti-Flag message board sometimes.

I think the biggest problem, and the reason nothing we try will bring TPU back to it's former glory is facebook. The other day I was talking to people about how even though everyone has a facebook, it is actually harder to book shows in other towns that it was say 5 years ago because back then everyone knew everyone outside of the internet and wrote letters and made phone calls and planned tours via email and on myspace which was apparently better for music stuff. WEB 2.0 IS THE PROBLEM, but nobody wants to face it.

Also, I think old TPU benefited greatly from random chance and coincidence, we all showed up at the same place at the same time for the same reason, actually that's how I made all my non-internet friends too.

Also, the downloads section that made people post, that's why I originally joined, you know.

To coincide with the temporary re-activation of old TPU, let's have a publicized, planned "TPU Reunion" where we use any means necessary to get old members to come back and catch up on what has been going on in our lives since they left.

I try and get back into posting here but seriously nothing is ever interesting. I think the fail of this place was honestly when we got banned for being dicks to people it made everything more fun.

This place is boring cause no one's around. If everyone comes back, and we liven the place up a bit, it will be just as good, if not better, than it ever was.

I'm still alive n' shit. Back last year I had posted here this plan to go drift off somewhere random though I changed my mind and decided to keep going with college, I finally have earned a degree, and now I have a pretty lazy summer ahead so I might stop by more. So yeah, sad to say I didn't go join Occupy or something but I think not always following through with impulsive decisions is for the best. Then again, my life has been a never ending streak of impulsive decisions.

Fucking glad to see the spam is finally under control. Not sure what else to say. Hey everyone.
