ANTI-FLAG TO RELEASE "THE GENERAL STRIKE" ON MARCH 20th, 2012.
BAND ALSO ANNOUNCES RECORD RELEASE SHOWS!

“Get up! Your voices are needed!” Justin Sane shouts on Anti Flag’s new studio album, The General Strike, which is due out on March 20th, 2012, on Side One Dummy Records.

The 12 tracks that comprise the bands 8th studio album are arguably their most aggressive to date. With influences ranging from hardcore to modern folk punk The General Strike is reckless and tight, aggressive, experimental and definitely sounds as pissed off as the bands feels.

The General Strike was recorded and Produced by Anti-Flag at their home studio and is poised to be the sound track for the masses of dissatisfied private citizens that are currently protesting corporate injustice and governmental power around the world.

RECORD RELEASE SHOWS!

Anti-Flag will be releasing their new album “THE GENERAL STRIKE” and will be performing a string of album release shows in the Northeast US this March. The shows will feature specials guests The Flatliners and Have Nots. Every person who walks through the door for “The General Strike” Record Release Tour in March will receive an exclusive download card, featuring 3 songs from “THE GENERAL STRIKE” and 2 UNRELEASED EXCLUSIVE SONGS. These shows are also the only place you will be able to get a copy of the new CD and Vinyl album prior to March 20th.

The new song sounds like a lot of other Anti-Flag songs. That is not necessarily bad, but I am looking forward to the songs that have "influences ranging from hardcore to modern folk punk".

I did not like that I had to "Like" Anti-Flag's facebook page to hear the song.

Also, I would hardly call March 20 an "Immediate Release".

My mistake on the track list.  Bacon is not on there, although I have been told that it is a real Anti-Flag song.  (One of the b-sides for this album.)

I wish they would come to Atlanta They have not been here since 2008. I have real fiends now and would probably enjoy Anti-Flag a lot more if I saw them at a show with friends instead of parents. I would even go to the masquerade. I am honestly exited about the possibility of seeing Rise Against again.

2012 is going to be awesome!
