I have an issue.

For like the last month my email and facebook have been getting hacked like every day, sometimes more.
Password is constantly being changed, yet nothing on either my email or facebook is actually being changed.
I thought I found the problem when I saw that one of my very old msn accounts was the back-up email in case i couldn't remember my password, and when I logged into that account I saw that a lot of the emails had been opened, mainly the password reset ones and some personal ones from a long time ago.
When my current email was being hacked it was also private emails, from family members and such, that had been opened.
So anyway I stopped the link between my current email/fb from being connected to that old email, yet everything is still continuing.

I dont really understand how, so was hoping someone could help me possibly? or give me some advice.
Nobody could guess my password, or know the answer to my security question, there are no other connected emails either.
WHAT IS GOING ON AND WHAT DO I DO
I would get a new facebook and email but if they can hack those then why would they not be able to do the same to the new ones?
:(

My best advice is to change all the passwords and run an anti virus program on your computer because there could be some kind of something recording what you type.
download and run this (if you are running Windows):
http://chorusofone.n...ted/PROCEXP.exe
then go file -> save as and post the contents of the text file here and I will tell you if there is anything out of the ordinary.

Also, unlink everything from facebook and stop using it completely. it is my understanding Facebook has huge security loopholes  that people can just waltz right through, built into it just for this purpose, and you should NEVER link facebook and other things.

I don't know much about security stuff, but my friend, who does, is always warning people to not post their email address out in the open on forums.

that picture you posted is just task manager, it is nothing bad. from proces explorer's output, I don't see anything inherently bad. what antivirus are you using?

install ccleaner, it will delete all your temporary files, so it can't hurt. I don't know what else to do. Just blame facebook, that's what I always do.

I use avast. it is absolutely free and kicks ass. I had shittons of viruses when I used the expensive Norton Antivirus, and since I have started using Avast I have had no trouble at all.

Is Norton the one that pays people to make viruses that only they can find?

what do you mean it doesn't tell you anything? It is always talking, saying "Virus Database has been updated" or "Waring A threat has been detected". It does not constantly nag you about every fucking website you go to, but that's why it's great.

I've found Malwarebytes to be pretty awesome.
