I third the notion that he is nothing more than a rockstar, and that his bass playing can be copied within a week or two. As previously noted it is simply just scales being played fast, and has yet to improve since when he joined/ruined the band. Now as cliche as it may be the guy on the last intro5pect cd can play bass, and Matt freeman.

Most of his bass lines are just based off of simple scales played fast. Singing while playing Bring Out Your Dead is simple with an hour or two or practice, along with many of his other basslines. Press Corpse for example is basically a scale played fast.
Hence, he is not jesus, nor a robot.. He is a human being with a few years of practice.
