The People or the Gun is the best A-F I've heard since Underground Network.
Here's some of my favorites:
"The Old Guard", "The Economy Is Suffering... Let It Die", "When All the Lights Go Out"

I don't really like this album. It's worse than anything else they've put out in at least 6 years (I have not heard anything from Benefit... so I won't include that)
The lyrics are not really that intelligent in general. Some songs I can get with. I don't even know if Karl Marx himself could make more references to the Manifesto and the songs just seem crude and annoying.
Musically, it's nothing special, not that I expected anything more, but they've done better.
I find it's a bland album lacking a lot of substance. I won't bother buying this one. I took a chance on TBLoA and at least found a couple of songs I liked (I bought it before I heard anything but the title song), but I've heard this one through and it isn't worth the effort to go get.

Yea a lot of the lyrics are weak(aka the verses to The Economy is Suffering) but the classic good ole just rock out to shitty musicians music is all over this album. And then you have the few spurts of greatness with the songs Sodom, Gommorha, Washington DC., When All the Lights Go Out, Your Fired, Economy is Suffering(the were all fucked part and the ending). This really is a solid punk album.

Are you guys kidding me?! I find this CD extremely lacking, put more bluntly, it SUCKS! Every song is very short lyrically, constantly singing whoa whoa. The music is all the same, verse-chorus-verse-chorus-generic AF guitar solo-chorus. This CD makes their previous CD sound good. The People or The Gun has nothing on For Blood and Empire or The Terror State. Its almost as if they've ran out of intelligent things to say.

Little GoGo Dancer
No War Without Warriors, You are Fired, and Sodom, Gomorrah, Washington D.C.
Teenage Kennedy Lobotomy is amazing, it made me laugh out loud the first time I heard it.
